Steps of construction

1. Draw AB = 6.4cm.

2. Construct ∠BAX = 90°

3. Construct ∠ ABY=90°

4. With B as center and radius=6.4cm, draw an arc. Let it interest AX at D.

5. With B as center and radius=6.4cm draw another arc intersecting BY at C .

6. Join DC .

7. Hence, ABCD is the required Square.
