Given;

Diagonal length of a square is 6.4 cm

Following steps;

  • Draw a line AC with measurement 6.4cm
  • By using compass bisect the line AC which is cuts the line AC at point P
  • From point P take vertical measurement 3.2cm upper and lower at point D and B
  • Joint point  A and B , B and C , C and D also D and A

Now ABCD is the required square.
