Farmers day to day role about agriculture
Answers
I live on a farm so i can answer a few questions if you want...
farmers day to day routine through out the day consists of early mornings and hard work no matter the weather outside. lately because its been raining a lot the farm has to be ready for a flood if it comes to happen. first thing in the morning i would wake up about 5-am and check all gates to make sure that no live stock hasn't gotten out or cant get out. if there is a fence that needs fixing i will go and get some equipment to fix the damage by then it would be about 6-am. But if there is no damage i will go and fill the trailers with food for the live stock ... the animals that we have on our farm are cows, horses, goats, dogs, rabbits and cats. sometimes other farmers use our land to put sheep in with equals a bit of income. once i have filled the trailers up i would go round the farm filling the buckets and tr-offs. but the horses need hay in each net which hangs in the stable for each individual horse. That is all done by hand which is a tedious job. that would take me up to 7.30-am. Depending on the day (weather) and what time of the year it is, crops need certain conditions to have fast growth. the best place for them are in a field next to a river because the ground is full of minerals compared to a field a bit further away.
is this what you were wanting to know or if you need to know about specifics on a type of specter of farming.. i am here if you need help :)
