To construct two triangles similar to each other, the ratio of each side  has to be the same.

Explanation:

Given:- Two triangles are similar.

Construction

Triangle ABC.

Step 1. Fist draw a Triangle ABC with below mentioned sides.

AB = 3 cm.

BC = 4 cm.

CA = 5 cm.

Step2.  Now draw second triangle with sides of equal ratio. For this you have to multiply each side by the same number.

So, here we multiple sides by 4.

XY = 4(AB).

YZ = 4(BC)

ZX = 4(AC).

So, XY = 4 x 3 = 12 cm.

     YZ = 4 x 4 = 16 cm.

      ZX = 4 x 5 = 20 cm.

Step 3.  Now construct second triangle XYZ with the new measure of sides calculated above.

So, AB/XY = BC/YZ = AC/XZ.

Thus the triangles ABC and Triangle XYZ are corresponding.
