Step 1 : Draw a ray  OX

Step 2 :  Using suitable compass width and taking O as center draw approximate quarter circle arc intersecting OX at A

Step 3 : Keeping compass width same and taking A as center cut arc at B

Step 4 : Using suitable compass width taking A and B as center draw arcs intersecting at M

Step 5 : Join OM intersecting arc drawn in 2nd step at C

Step 6 : Using suitable compass width taking C and B as center draw arcs intersecting at N

Step 7 : Join ON intersecting arc drawn in 2nd step at D

Step 8 : Using suitable compass width taking C and A as center draw arcs intersecting at P

Step 9 : Join OP

∠AOP = 45/2 °
