Answer:

Construct ΔPQR, such that QR=6.5 cm, ∠PQR=60° and PR-PQ=2.5 cm.  

Draw a line segment QR of 6.5 cm with the help of scale.

Construct <RQS =60° with the help of compass.

Produced XP downwards to a point X'.

Set off QX'=2.5 cm

Join X'R

Draw the perpendicular bisector of CD, meeting XX' at P.

Join RP.

Then, ∆PQR is the required triangle.  

Verification:  

On measuring , PR = 5.5 cm  

PQ = 3 cm  

PR-PQ= 2.5 cm
