Conversion of Cyclohexene to Cyclohexanol is known as Hydration of cyclohexane . This reaction can be conveniently achieved when cyclohexanol is treated with Conc. H₂SO₄ .

Reaction :- Refer to the attachment for the better understanding .

Cyclohexene --(conc.H₂SO₄) ---→Cyclohexyl Hydrogen sulfate ---(H₂O .Δ)→ Cyclohexanol .

Explanation :- Here in the reaction , when cyclohexene is treated in the presence  conc . H₂SO₄ , It gives cyclohexyl hydrogen sulfate , After that further it treated and hydrolyzed , It gives Cyclohexanol .

Hope it Helps . :-)
