◐ We can't convert ethanol into flouro ethane directly via single chemical reaction.

◐ First we have to convert ethanol into chloro/bromo ethane.

◐ We can convert chloro/bromo ethane into flouro ethane via halogen-exchange reaction.

1) Alcohol → chloro alkane
