Ethanamine ( CH$_{3}$CH$_{2}$NH$_{2}$ ) can be converted into ethanoic acid ( CH$_{3}$COOH )  by following step of reactions -

(i). React ethanamine ( CH$_{3}$CH$_{2}$NH$_{2}$ ) with Nitrous acid ( HNO$_{2}$ )  , ethanol ( CH$_{3}$CH$_{2}$OH ) is formed .

(ii). React ethanol ( CH$_{3}$CH$_{2}$OH ) with potassium permanganate ( KMnO$_{4}$ ) in the presence of hydronium ions ( $H^+$ ) , ethanoic acid ( CH$_{3}$COOH ) is formed .

• Ethanoic acid ( CH$_{3}$COOH ) is also known as Acetic acid .
