Carbon and Oxygen are the second-period elements whereas Aluminium and Potassium are of the third period.

On moving from the 2nd period to the 3rd period, atomic radius increases due to the increment of the number of shells.

So, Aluminium and Potassium have greater atomic radius than Carbon and Oxygen.

If we move from Left to Right in a period then atomic radius decreases because effective nuclear charge increases.

Hence, Aluminium will be smaller than Potassium. Similarly, Oxygen will be smaller than Carbon.

The correct order of the atomic radius will be;

Potassium > Aluminium > Carbon > Oxygen
