subtract (i) from (ii)

Multiply equation ( 1 ) with 1000, we

get

1000x = 3185.185185185...---( 2 )

Subtract equation ( 2 ) from ( 1 ) , we

get ,

999x = 3182

x = 3182/999

x = 3182/999

Therefore ,

x = 3.185 bar = 3182/999 [ p/q form ]
