Step-by-step explanation:

cos theta/1-sin theta = 1+ sin theta/cos theta

cross multiply,

cos theta x cos theta = ( 1 + sin theta) x ( 1 - sin theta )

i.e. cos2 theta = 1- sin2 theta         {bcz (a+b)(a-b) = a2 - b2}

then, cos2 theta + sin2 theta = 1
