Kunwar Singh (1777 – 1858) was a Rajput leader who fought against the colonial British, during the Indian Rebellion of 1857. He rallied his troops and went to the battle field when he was eighty years of age, assisted by his brother – Babu Amar Singh and Commander-in Chief – Hare Krishna Singh. Using his sound logic and guerrilla tactics against the British, he harassed them constantly and left them confused.

He was born in a Rajput Zamindar family and resisted the British till his very end.
