1. the cumulus clouds are formed at Higher altitudes of 500 mm to 6000 mm
2. the vertical flow of the winds lead to the continuous addition of moisture carried out by winds
3. the addition of the Laden winds convert the cumulus into cumulonimbus clouds

(1) Cumulus clouds are found between 500m to 6000m altitudes. They are mostly formed due to the vertical flow of the air.
(2) Sometimes the vertical expanse of the cumulus clouds increases and it leads to formation of huge mountains like cumulonimbus clouds. Thus, cumulus clouds change into cumulonimbus clouds.
