Difference between General election & mid - term election is - :
<b>A mid-term election is an election that occurs two years after the Presidential Election. Since the president isn’t being elected it doesn’t get as much attention as the Presidential Election. Again, another 1/3rd of the Senate is running, and ever member of the House.Usually, the most important thing happening is the possible turn over of the House, or on occasion, the Senate. Of course, these occurrences can be very consequential, but not nearly as much as the Presidential election.
