Hire a good SUV, start early so you can avoid traffic. Arrive first at Manashakti Kendra where you can have Kande Pohe and sizzling Batata vada followed by tea for breakfast. Eating hot Batata vada dipped in red chutney or with fried green chilly in Monsson at Lonavala is just ultimate.

Move to Karla caves If you go early, you get less crowd.. It involves climbing on steps to the hill where caves and Goddess Ekvira devi temple are situated. By the time you will realise that your breakfast has vanished. Children enjoy climbing small hills.

Come down and again enter in Lonavala. Before that you can see the wax museum also on the way back.

There are n number of good restaurants for lunch. Choose any of your choice. If you like Gujarati Thali try Chandralok or Kailash Parbat too on the main road is good. But remember thali would be heavy and would make you sleepy, you keep that for evening.

Go to Bhushi dam. There are several water falls and crowd dancing under it. Then head towards the tiger point ahead of it. Here you can see something like Grand Canyon, valleys and mountains surrounding you. The falls in this season would be numerous. You would not feel like leaving the place. Eating freshly roasted ear of corn while facing the cool breeze and showers is a sheer pleasure.

On the way back find out a good place have couple of drinks and a leisurely dinner and arrive back home with fresh mind.

Please do not forget to buy chikki. It is Loanvala special item. One Mr. Maganlal started this business few decades ago and was famous for his tasty chikki. Now every alternate shopkeepers claim that he is the descendant of that Maganlal and names his shop as Maganlal chikki. I always wonder how many dozens of children this Maganlal

Thank You

Hope it Helps (-:
