daisy walked 20km from west then turned right and walked the 15 kilometre then she turned the east and walked 40 km she again turned the right and walked 15 kilometre how far is she from her house.

she turned right and walked = 15 Km

Then according to the question she turned east that means from her point of view she turned right and walked = 40 Km

Then again turned right and walked about = 15 Km

So now after reading all I tried to explain we observe that she actually travelled a rectangular distance.

If we observe it as a rectangle it is like the upper side is 40 and the lower is 20.

So that means the upper side is exceeding 20 Km and then turning to form a breadth of 15 Km

So that means one side is still not covered that is the half of 40 that is 20 Km.

Hence we conclude that she is 20 Km away from her house.
