Solution:

The formulas to be used:

$\boxed{\bold{Area \:of \:a \:circle = \pi r^2}}\\\\\boxed{\bold{Circumference \:of \:a \:circle = 2 \pi r}}$

The area of the circular garden = 6.6 m²

∴ $\pi r^2 = 6.6$

$\implies \frac{22}{7} \times r^2 = 6.6$

$\implies r^2 = \frac{6.6 \times 7}{22}$

$\implies r^2 = 2.1$

$\implies r = \sqrt{2.1}$

$\implies \bold{r = 1.4\:m}$

We know that the length of the fence around the circular garden means we have to find the circumference of the circular garden.

∴ The length of the fence around the circular garden is,

= Circumference of the circle

= $2 \pi r$

= $2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times 1.4$

= $2 \times 22 \times 0.2$

= $\bold{8.8\: m}$

Thus, the length of the fence around the circular garden is → 8.8 m.
