Let the answer be n = xy =( 10x+y )where X and y are individual digits

Given in question x-y=5 —————equation 1

&

Let's the interchanged digits make the number be m= yx=(10y+x)

So the ratio be like m:n :: 3:8 ( given ).

i.e yx:xy::3:8 = 10y+x : 10x+y :: 3:8

80y+8x=30x+3y

77y-22x=0

7y-2x=0 —————— equation 2

From equation 1 &2

X=7

Y=2

So the number is 72

Therefore, two-digit number is = 10x + y and the reversed number is 10y + x

Given:

x + y = 8

x = 8 – y --------------1

Also given:

10x + y + 36 = 10y + x

9y – 9x = 36

y – x = 4 --------------2

Substitute the value of x from eqn 1 in eqn 2

y – (8 – y) = 4

2y – 8 = 4

2y = 12

y = 6

Therefore, x = 8 – y = 8 – 6 = 2

Therefore, two-digit number = 10x + y = (10 * 2) + 6 = 26

and the reversed number = 10y + x = (10 * 6) + 2 = 62
