cp = rs 25000 overhead expenses =3000+500 = 3500 total cp = 25000+3500=28500

sp =40000

profit =sp -cp=40000-28500=11500 profit %= profit/cp ×100 = 11500/28500×100 =40.36%

Step-by-step explanation:

25000Rs. he bought computer

+3000Rs. he spend on maintenance

+500 Rs. expenses on advertisement

-----------

28500Rs. total C. P.

and 40000Rs. S. P. therefore profit =11500Rs.

profit %=(profit/C.P.*100)%

=(11500/28500*100)%

=40.36%
