sonnet 29 highlights the poet's despair and the loss of his reputation. He all alone beweep over his outcaste state. In sonnet 30, the poet is in a state of despair, because he could not acheive many things he thought for. In this sonnets, despair vanishes at the thought of the friend. This thought enlivens him. The couplets in the two poems sum up the present joyous mood of the speaker, at the thought of the friend. There are beautiful imageries and figure of speech in both the poems. The reference to the park in sonnet 29 and the memory of his dead friend are dramatically opposed, because the former is to make someone and the latter is a sad memory.
