 debate : Are parents the best friends of teenagers ?

Most probably the answer is a yes and a no but for the parents even if their children are rude to them they are their best friends but for teenagers it's sometimes quite different
WHY??? -
Some teenagers have their own point of view. Those teens who fight with their parents and don't talk to them - this kinda teens parents are still their best friends they are angry but still can't help thinking of it 
But the other teens - the other types are aggressive and think their parents as enemies, whenever they fight or parents scold they abuse them in mind or talk to them rudely and never agree to them.

You can call it as a 50/50 but your answer is yes bcoz some or the other time the 2nd type of teens get mixed with their parents
