Every thing in the world has negative and positive aspects, it depends on your perceptionSocial media i think it has played a very important role in connecting the people and their idealogies.

It has provided such a platform where no one is rich no one is poor,where there is no discrimination and biased nature towards anyone and everybody gets treated equally and have right to put forward point of view.

It has become a platform where people can have a direct discussion with the policy makers if they feel they are getting wronged somewhere ,and if those polices are not benificial.There are lot of examples where this platform has transformed a persons life politicians like Sushma swaraj,Akhilesh Singh yadav and our prime minister Mr Narendra Modi who are very active on social sites whenever find any point of view,story or issue on these sites which need their concern they take rapid action towards those matters.

One such example is of a child of Uttar pradesh and his innovation he made a kind of device and ,when CM Akhilesh Yadav got information about it from twitter which was posted by some other person CM recognised the talent of that child awarded him ,so in this manner social media is also helping talanted peoples to gain opportunity.

Social networking sites has also reduced the gap between peoples and has reduced , many type of discrimination from the society and now no one hesitate while putting their point of view."It is hardest thing in the world to be good thinker without being a good self examiner"

Answer: Debate on social networking sites;

Hello everyone,

                     My name is(write you name).I am appreciative of everyone who allowed me to speak in front of such a crowd. Today i am going to speak about Social networking sites.

The phrase "social media" has ingrained itself into daily speech. A user-friendly social media network, it provides some emotional support by allowing users to electronically connect with a large number of friends and followers. But the discussion regarding social media and its role in our daily lives has also grown to be quite important and significant. It can highlight the different facets of social media that influence people's lives in either favourable or unfavourable ways.

I'm attempting to draw attention to several social media realities that negatively affect our lives. We're referring to the relationships and friends we have on social media. But do we actually have that many friends in our lives? Virtual friendships offer the impression that you are part of a wider social network, but they don't actually have that effect as a source of social support. To maintain the friendship, there must be genuine social interaction—not just online chat. The social media issue also highlights how an excessive amount of social media use might lead to a person being accustomed to nonverbal, indirect communication.

Particularly among the younger age groups, they are losing the capacity for and interest in direct face-to-face engagement. In reality, children and teenagers nowadays are raised to communicate with others by looking at screens rather than at their faces. This results in a mindset that is resistant to social networking with extended family and friends, which is quite concerning. Online communication fosters the practice of nonverbal communication, which excludes the use of facial expression, body language, and vocal representation of emotions. Due to this, many tiny real-time contacts that foster emotional development and maturity are being missed by many people.

One of the biggest contributors to our wellbeing is the existence of helpful offline social networking. However, spending more time on social media keeps users removed from everyday responsibilities. One's mental health may be severely harmed by this. The discussion on social media also brings to light the fact that people are less likely to meet up in person and instead favour using emoticons to convey their feelings. This is by no means a constructive means of expressing either good or negative emotions. Although face-to-face communication can be less streamlined or predictable, it nevertheless has some beneficial and significant effects. Social media clearly lacks the interpersonal connection that many people yearn for.
