A rhombus is a quadrilateral having 4-straight sides of equal length such that opposite sides are parallel and equal.

It is also a type of parallelogram having equal opposite angles .

AdiN05517: you have mentioned "rhombus is a type of parallelogram which has equal opposite angles" im saying to remove it... cuz grammatically, that means other parallelograms do not have equal opposite angles...

A rhombus is a parallelogram with sides of equal lengths.

When sides become equal, diagonals become perpendicular to each other.
And, the diagonals of a parallelogram are bisectors of each other.
So, the diagonals of a rhombus are perpendicular bisectors of each other.
