1.) Saprophytes : The organisms
which feed on other dead and
decaying organisms are called
Saprophytes.
For eg : fungi and mushroom.

2.) parasites : The organisms which
live on other living bodies ( on the
body of host) and gain their
nutrition from it are called
parasites.
For eg : Cuscuta ( Amarbel ) and
Rafflesia .

• parasites are the organisms which gets their nutrition only in the host organism and they will also cause many diseases to the host organism 

• Monogenic parasitism: A monogenic parasite needs only one host to complete its life cycle.

• Digenic parasitism: A digenic parasite requires multiple hosts to complete its life cycle. An example for this is Plasmodium vivax, the protozoa that causes malaria.
