The stage between childhood and adulthood is known as the the adolescene. The symptoms of adolescene are :-
1) the body attains reproductive maturity.
2) Increase in height.
3) Changes in body shape and size.

It begins around the age of 11 years and lasts upto 18 or 19 years of age. This stage occurs between childhood and adulthood.

During adolescence, the body grows rapidly and undergoes several changes. These changes mark the onset of puberty. Puberty ends when an adolescent reaches reproductive maturity. At the end of puberty, girls and boys become capable of reproduction. The end of adolescence is the begining of adulthood.
