Ammonification:- the conversion of dead organic matter into ammonia is ammonification it is done by mostly fungi and some nitrogen fixing bacteria.

Nitrification - the conversion of ammonia into nitrites to nitrates whis is done by nitrosomonas and nitrobactor .

Denitrification - the conversion of nitrates into atmospheric nitrogen is de-nitrificattion which is done by pseudomonas.

Answer:

Ammonification

Dead plants and remains animals are converted into ammonia and ammonium compounds by bacteria, fungi and other decomposers that are present in the soil. This process is called ammonification.

Nitrification

Nitrifying bacteria present in the soil convert the ammonia that is not absorbed by the plants into nitrnitrification . This process is called nitrification.

Denitrification

Denitrifying bacteria present in the soil convert the nitrates that are not absorbed by the plants into free nitrogen gas and the process is called denitrification .
