Assets keep a business out of debt. These range from cash, to logos, etc. It is of three types: tangible, intangible and intellectual property.

Anything which is in the possession or is the property of a business enterprise including the amounts due to it from others,is called an asset
For eg,cash ,bank balance,stock ,furniture,bills receivable,debtors....etc
Assets are classified into 3 categories
1.non current assets:
a)tangible.
b)intangible
2.Current assets
3.Fictitious or nominal assets(these are not really assets but are shown on the assets side only for the purpose of transferring them to the profit and loss account) Hope it helps u....
