an external physical cause that change the position of an object and try to change the position of an object is called force.
Ex- 1.when we push a book, then applied force that changes its position.
2.when we push a wall we applied force but it can't changes it's position...

Therefore,we can say that not necessarily changing the position of objects by applying force every time....

for example :-

1. when we push a ball it become in motion and change its position..

2. when we pull the door, change its position and open....

there so many more example of force.
picking a book, lifting the suitcase, closing the door, opening the almirah , tug of war etc.
