inclined plane is a simple machine with a gradual slope... it's easy to take something up using an​ inclined plane.
example: If you have to load a suitcase up a truck it will be easier if you keep a ramp there to push It​ up. less effort is needed to push it up. In this case, the ramp works as a inclined plane
