When something is repeated continously and doesn't has end it is called as infinity.

it is the quality or state of endlessness or having no limits in terms of time, space, or other quantity

Hi,
Scientists were looking for a defination of Infinity that would satisfy everyone . But every defination caused problems .
Infinity is not a number but a number of numbers. Infinity was defined as if you take a box place four boxes in it and in each box place four more boxes and continue forever after this then if you count the boxes then you'll get the number Infinity.

Hope it helps.
