Interference or wave interference is the phenomenon in which two waves superpose or overlap to form a resultant wave which may be same, lower or high in the amplitude.
Interference can be of two types :
● Constructive interference, and;
● Destructive interference.
Diffraction : It is the phenomenon of bending of light around the corners of an object.
The amount of bending of light depends on the relative size of the wavelength of light compared with the size of opening.
The most common example of diffraction in atmosphere is the silver and shiny lining around the clouds.
