But I am not assure this jazya is same as you notified in question.
Jazia : Jazia was abolished by the third emperor Akbar (Mughal).
But Aurangzeb re started it .
An this will be introduced when qutub budin aibaks times by which he was trying to weak the Hindu religion and promote Islam in India.
