HEY USER
HERE IS YOUR ANSWER :-

REMAINDER THEORM :- It states that the remainder of the division of a polynomial f(x) by a linear polynomial x - r is equal to f(r) .
In particular , x-r is a divisor of f(x) if and only if f(r) = 0 .

Remainder Theorem :
If p(x) is any polynomial of degree greater than or equal to 1 and p(x) is divided by the linear polynomial x-a then the remainder is p(a).

Example :
• Find the remainder when x^2 +x^2 -2x +x +1 is divided by x-1.

Here, p(x) = x^2 +x^2 -2x +x +1
and the zero of x-1 is 1
so, p(1) = (1)^2 + (1)^3 - 2(1)^2 + 1 + 1
= 1 + 1 - 2 + 1
= 2 - 2 + 1
= 1.
so by remainder theorem, the remainder is 1.
