Adverb-
An adverb is a word which describes a verb. It describes how the verb is doing a particular action.
Example- He walks slowly to school. Here, the adverb is slowly as it describes how the verb is doing the action of walking. This part of speech shows whether the subject is doing an action slowly, quickly, shabbily, etc.
Verb
- A verb is a word which tells what a noun is doing.
Example- Amy likes to sing songs. Here, the verb is sing as it tells what the subject- Amy is doing.
Adjective-
An adjective is a word which describes the noun. It tells us attributes or features of the noun.
Example- Koalas are cute animals. In this sentence, cute is the adjective. It tells us about the noun- whether it is ugly or pretty, cute, etc.
