Ohm's law. [ōmz] A law relating the voltage difference between two points, the electric current flowing between them, and the resistance of the path of the current. Mathematically, the lawstates that V = IR, where V is the voltage difference, I is the current in amperes, and R is the resistance in ohms.
Limitations of Ohm's Law. Although Ohm's law is an important principle in the field of electronics, it cannot be considered as an actual physical law. We know that as per ohm'slaw voltage / current = a constant and that constant is the resistance. But the resistance does not remain constant all the time.
