P.C.R is Polymerase Chain Reaction.

It is a scientific method used in the field of molecular biology to create several copies of a particular DNA segment. It is often used for tissue typing at the time of organ transplantation.

It is also found to be successful on early diagnosis of cancer, lymphomas and leukemia.

It also helps in identifying slow-moving microorganisms often present in infectious diseases, like HIV, tuberculosis, pertussis, etc.
