What is polynomial =:

A polynomial is a mathematical expression containing one or more terms with non zero coefficients and with variables having non negative exponenns

eg. 2x+1 , -2x , 4x + 4 + 4

=> A polynomial is always an algebraic expression whereas an algebraic expression may or may not be a polynomial.

=> The greatest power of the variable in a polynomial is called the degree of the polynomial.

✴ A polynomial is the sum of difference of a collection of algebraic terms.

✳A polynomial with one term is called Monomial

✳A polynomial with two term is called binomial
