Power is the rate of doing work per time unit

Deriving it's SI unit
work/time.
joules/second=watt

this means that the bulb consumes 15 joules of energy in a second

now ATQ
POWER=15
TIME=60sec
work=?
as we know
power = work /time
so work = 15×60
work done = 900 joules

plz mark as brainliest if it helped u

Answer:

Defining Power

Power is defined as the rate of doing work.

Deriving it's SI unit

Powe = Work done/Time taken

= Energy consumed/Time taken

= Joule/Second

= Watt

An electric bulb is rated 15W.It means that the bulb consumes 15 joules of energy per second.

Power=15 joules

Time=10 minutes

Work done=?

but,

Power= Work done/Time taken

15 joules=Work done/10 minutes

15 joules= Work done/600 seconds

Work done=600 x 15

Work done=9000 Joules
