Resistivity is defined as the resistance per unit length per unit area of scross-section.

SI unit of resistivity is Ohm metre.

Resistivity is directly proportional to length,temperature of the material.
Resistivity is inversely proportional to area of cross section of the material.
Resistivity also changes according to the type of material.
