The amount of heat required to convert 1kg of liquid to gas at boiling point at atmospheric pressure is known as latent heat of vapourisation.

Solidification also known as freezing is a phase change of matter that results in the production of solid. Generally it occurs when the temperature of water is lowered below freezing point
