liquid are a state of matter that occupies the shape of the container.
the particles of matter are loosely packed.
they are not in an fixed place .
it the phase between solids and gases.
they are incompressable.
they have no fixed volume.

They do not have a fixed shape but have a fixed volume. .They can't be compressed.Tgey do not have a fixed boundary. They have the ability to flow and hence are called fluids..The particles are packed a bit loosely.
