Every complete sentence contains two parts: a subject and a predicate. The subject is what (or whom) the sentence is about, while the predicatetells something about the subject.

Every sentence has a complete subject and complete predicate. The complete subjecttells whom or what the sentence is about. Forexample; The house, The red car, or The great teacher. The complete predicate tells what thesubject is or does.
