In the accountability principle in politics, the elected or assigned officials working in the government must be liable for whatever they do or whatever the decisions they make.

Public Participation: In the public participation in politics, people or citizens which will be affected by the governments actions or decisions can take part in the process of making the decision. For example, a policy which will be imposed by the government may affect several organizations and communities. The members of the organization and communities can participate to the development of that policy.

Representation: In representation principle, the communities, organizations and other group of people can choose a representative to influence the formation of laws and policies.
