Endocrine glands are the ductless glands which pour their secretion directly into the blood...Their secretions are the hormones which are the non-nutrient chemicals and produce certain effects in the body....

Endocrine glands are that type of glands located in the endocrine system that discharge their products, hormones, directly into the bloodstream rather than through a duct.


The major glands of the endocrine-related system comprise the following :


1)  pineal gland,


2)pituitary gland,


3)pancreas,


4) ovaries,


5)testes,


6)thyroid gland,


7) parathyroid gland,


8)hypothalamus and


9)adrenal glands.


The endocrine system is a network organize kind of glands.


These glands discharge hormones to regulate many bodily functions and activities, including growth and metabolism.


Endocrine diseases are found to occur commonly and usually, occur when glands produce the inappropriate amount of hormones to the bloodstream.
