The sex ration in India has increase 10 points in census2011 as compared to census 2001. Accounding to the census2011, the sex ratio in India 943 per 1000 males.

Birthrate:-

The number of live births per thousand persons in a year is known as birthrate. In India, birth rates have always been higher than death rates. Since 1981, birth rates have also started declining gradually, resulting in a gradual decline in the rate of population growth. Birth rate is the number of live births per 1000 persons in a year.

Deathrate:-

The number of deaths in the population divided by the average population (or the population at midyear) is known as death rate. A death rate can also be tabulated according to age or cause.
