Define the term uniform acceleration. Give one example of uniformly accelerated motion. A bus decreases its speed from 72km to 54km in 5s. Find the acceleration of the bus.

Anonymous: A body has a unifor acceleration if it trlavels in a straight line and its velocity increases by equal amount in equal intervals of time .
For example -the motion of free falling body .
acceleration =final velocity - initial velocity /total time taken by the body.
a=v-u/t
a=72-52/5
a=20/5
a=4m/seconrd square

in uniform acceleration acceleration is constant but the velocity is varying .

Free fall of a object is a example of uniformly accelerated motion.

Initial velocity=72 km/h ×5/18=20m/s

final velocity =54km/h ×5/18=15 m/s

Acceleration=15-20/5 m/s= -5/5 m/s = -1 m/s²
