Thrombocytosis is the increase in the number of platelates which causes unnecessary clotting of blood.
Thrombocytopenia is the decrease in the number of platelelets which prevents the clotting of blood.
Polycethemia is an abnormal rise in the rbc count.
Erythrocytopenia is the decrease in the number of RBCs which causes oxygen shortage in the blood and tissues.
