2.Food is not stored in cotyledons
3.The cotyledons are thin and papery
4.Perisperm does not develop from nucellus
5.Suspensor, haustoria do not substitute the endosperm
Example: Castor, Maize

Non- endospermic seeds:
1.In non endospermic seed, endosperm is absent

3.The cotyledons are thick and fleshy
4.Perisperm develops from nucellus

Hey Dear,
◆ Endospermic seed -
- Seeds which show presence of endosperm in mature seed are called endospermic seeds.
- Cotyledons are papery thin & can't act as storage organ.
- Nucellus doesn't develop into perisperm.
- Examples - arabisopsis thalala, etc.
◆ Non-endospermic seed -
- Seeds which show absence of endosperm in mature seed are called non-endospermic seeds.
- Cotyledons are thick fleshy & act as storage organ.
- Nucellus develop into perisperm.
- Examples - pisum sativus, etc.
