⟹ ⁣Metals :-

Materials which have certain properties like, lustre, malleability, ductility and are sonorous, good conductors of heat and electricity, are called metals.

Example - Gold, Silver, Iron, Copper ,Nickel ,Aluminum ,Mercury

Non - Metals :-

Substances which are soft and dull, i.e., non-lustrous, non-sonorous, non-ductile, non-malleable and poor conductor of heat and electricity are called non-metals.
